We believe interior design is where fashion + architecture meet!

From the streets of Chicago to the runways of Milan, we translate today's fashion trends into beautiful yet functional design elements for your home. We do this by identifying the best architectural and decorative pieces that bring to life our fashion fueled inspiration.

Beauty And The Bug

The fashion and interior design world is a buzz right now with insects and this trend is bugging me!

From rings and purses to wallpaper and fabrics, these little creatures are popping up everywhere! Most of the bug designs can be a bit kitschy, but there are still fun yet tasteful ways to follow this look even if you are an insect-phobe just like me.

Simply marry classic colors and patterns with an unexpectedly elegant twist.

A great example of this style are these sandals by Sophia Webster. The design of the shoe is so timeless that you barely notice the fluttering butterfly on the back.

I also love this black and white wallpaper by Vivienne Westwood for Cole & Son. The wild flowers and the creepy crawlers are so naturally intertwined that they are barely noticeable on the wallpaper print.

PS, I’d love to flutter around in these little buggers… Size 39, please!

Look Cool While Warming Up

I can’t get enough of my leather biker jacket in the fall, and I love incorporating metal pieces into urban spaces, but in the frigid winter months these two materials can feel cold and rough.

Incorporating a soft and plushy element like sheepskin can turn that edgy style into something more welcoming. The brilliant designers at Alexander McQueen know this and created a leather vest that’s oh-so HOT!

This concept works just as well in the home. Simply, add a furry layer into the mix to turn any metal furnishing into something cozy and fun.

Who wouldn’t want to curl up in this chair now?

50 Shades Of Romance, 365 Days a Year.

With Valentine’s Day here, it seems like the perfect time to talk about the color of love.

Everywhere I turn, I see the color red.  Lots of it.  In different shades and I love it!

Red is beautiful, bright and full of passion.  It’s one of those colors that makes a bold statement, especially in the bedroom.

And, it shouldn't be limited to just Valentine's Day.

I believe there’s an easy way to create a romantic atmosphere that allows you to feel sexy and sophisticated all year long.  Inspired by the woman’s effortless street style, simply mix red with pink and purple to soften the vibe. Then, pair rich textures and soft fabrics to make the room feel warm and inviting.
